Welcome to Ark United Christian Community Churches International, a fellowship of churches committed to raising sons and daughters in the ministry who are powerfully and prophetically equipped to fulfill the Great Commission.
Our mission is to equip local congregations with effective administration structures and spiritual empowerment. In addition to providing powerful apostolic leadership, our fellowship offers mentoring, accountability, vision and instruction for pastors, ministers and directors of para-church ministries.
Under the anointed, apostolic covering of founder and presiding prelate, Bishop C. Anthony Muse, Ark United seeks to transform leaders into powerful agents of change in the church, local community, and the world.

About The Prelate
C. Anthony Muse is a powerful, nationally-known and respected teacher and preacher of the gospel. He's senior pastor of the Ark of Safety, a vibrant congregation with a 130-year history that began as Gibbons United Methodist Church in Brandywine, Maryland. Muse founded The Ark In 1999 following his resignation from the UMC. Ordained nearly five decades ago, he preaches soul-stirring, life-changing messages seen around the world on the internet.
Bishop Muse is founder and presiding prelate of Ark United Christian Community Churches International, a fellowship of nearly 280 churches in the Washington, D.C. area, around the U.S., Ghana and Nigeria. Ark United's mission is to transform church leaders into powerful agents of change in the church, local community, and the world.
His work has always reached beyond the church. He's a four-term member of the Maryland state senate representing the 26th legislative district. He serves as vice chair of the Rules Committee (https://bit.ly/475yOXT), as a member of Judicial Proceedings, Executive Nominations, Joint Committee on Administrative, Executive, and Legislative Review; Joint Committee on Federal Relations; Muse previously served in the House of Delegates, as chair of the Prince George's County House delegation, and as a Maryland State Ethics Commissioner.
Bishop Muse holds a doctorate in church and community development from Howard University, a master's degree in divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary, and a bachelor's degree in history from Morgan State University.

She’s AUCCCI’s international first lady and first lady of the Ark of Safety Christian Church. Lady Muse is our presiding prelate’s right hand and advisor. She is coordinator of Ark United’s women’s fellowships as well as sister, friend, counselor and confidante to the women and wives of Ark United.
Lady Muse is an ordained elder and a prayerful, passionate human anchor for women of the faith. She has deep compassion for and commitment to serving the needs of women inside and outside of the church. She’s a strong advocate with an especially tender heart for the needs of the aging as well as the challenges and needs of families and individuals caring for loved ones with physical and mental health difficulties and disabilities. Lady Muse is skilled in planning outreach, fellowship, worship activities, and church retreats. She works with digital and social media, communication, public information, and church administration.
Lady Muse is a veteran television broadcast journalist who retired after more than 40 years as news anchor with NBC4-TV in Washington, DC and nearly 47 years in local radio and television news. She’s an Emmy award-winning news anchor recognized by the governor of Maryland and the U.S. House of Representatives for her decades of excellence in journalism and service to the Washington DC community. She was the 2023 recipient of the prestigious Board of Governor’s award by The National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of The National Association of Television Arts and Sciences, and she was presented with the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award by the Washington Association of Black Journalists. She’s a magna cum laude graduate of Howard University where she holds a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast management and radio production.
Lady Muse finds great joy in encouraging women, young and mature, to be committed to finding their special place in the body of Christ, to work diligently on their God-ordained assignment in ministry, to help strengthen the church with their individual and unique gifts, and to let their lights as believers shine in the world. Lady Muse believes every member is important to the ministry and that each one has a God-given gift to help their church.
She stresses the importance of families caring for one another, especially as the aging process takes place, and the importance of members caring for the church for the edifying of the body of Christ, to the glory of God!
